Anna Maria Marzullo, Collaborative Pianist
Both a teacher and collaborative pianist, Anna Maria earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Peabody Conservatory of Music and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. She has served on the piano faculty of The Peabody Preparatory School in Baltimore, acted as Executive Director of the Allentown Symphony, and serves as pianist for Lafayette College’s music department. Anna Maria has performed in duet, as well as in small and large ensembles.
A member of the piano faculty at Lafayette College and a private piano teacher in Easton, Anna Maria works with students from age 6 to septuagenarians. Her own recent teachers include Adrienne Sirken, Edna Golandsky, John Bloomfield and Robert Durso. Playing with the Concord Chamber Singers combines her love of communicating through music and her desire to collaborate with other musicians. She believes that through music one can explore humanity—past and present—and build bonds of human understanding.
Angela Mitchell, Assistant Conductor
In her fifth year with CCS, Angela (who sings soprano in the chorus), earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from West Chester University where she majored in voice and sang in several elite vocal ensembles. A multi-talented musician, Angela also plays trombone and bass recorder. She was previously employed by the Northampton School District as co-director and brass technician for the Big N Band and director of the pit orchestra. Angela earned a diploma in band instrument repair from Southeast Technical College and has worked at Nazareth Music Center as an instrument repair technician and sales associate. She currently works at C. F. Martin & Co., Inc. In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends and writing poetry and song lyrics.
