Anna Maria Marzullo, Collaborative Pianist
Both a teacher and a pianist, Anna Maria Marzullo serves as an Instructor of Piano at Lafayette College and as the pianist for the Concord Chamber Singeres. She also manages a private teaching studio. Marzullo has served on the piano faculty of the Peabody Preparatory School in Baltimore, was Executive Director of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, and has been pianist for Lafayette College’s music department. As a collaborative pianist, she has performed with musicians in both large and small ensembles.
Marzullo earned her bachelor of music degree in piano performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music where she studied with Fernando Laires. Recent teachers have included, Adrienne Sirken, Edna Golandsky, John Bloomfield, and Robert Durso. An interest in arts administration led her to earn a master’s degree in administration from Johns Hopkins University.
Passionate about helping others communicate and connect through music, Marzullo enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities and performing music from the Baroque through the 21st century. Working with the Concord Chamber Singers combines her love of communicating through music and her desire to collaborate with other musicians in styles ranging from the classical canon to the American Songbook.
Angela Mitchell, Assistant Conductor
With CCS since the fall of 2012, Angela who sings soprano in the chorus, earned a bachelor of arts degree in music from West Chester University where she majored in voice and sang in several elite vocal ensembles. A multi-talented musician, Angela also plays trombone and bass recorder. She was previously employed by the Northampton School District as co-director and brass technician for the Big N Band and directed the pit orchestra for the high school’s production of “Anything Goes.”
Angela earned a diploma in band instrument repair from Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, MN and has worked at Nazareth Music Center as an instrument repair technician and sales associate. She currently works at C. F. Martin & Co., Inc. She is a current member of the Allentown Symphony Chorus and also sings with Olde Towne Carolers during the Christmas Season. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing karaoke, writing poetry, and song lyrics.
